Food Vendor Applications
We are excited to invite you to participate as a vendor at the Love Day Atlanta Festival, a vibrant community outreach and festival event celebrating love, unity, and togetherness. The festival will take place on July 13, 2024 at Historic Fourth Ward Skatepark (830 Willoughby Way NE, Atlanta, GA 30312), and we anticipate a wonderful turnout from the local community.
Fee Structure and Terms & Condition
General Fees (Required for all footprint sizes):
Security Fee: $50
Available Footprints:
10’x10′ Tent Spot: $200 (must bring your own tent & table)
10’x20′ Tent Spot: $350 (must bring your own tent & table)
Additional Information:
Electric and water will not be provided; vendors must bring their own generator.
*All fees are non-refundable.
Application must be submitted by Monday, June 24, 2024.
There will be no registration after the deadline and no registration on Festival Day. No food items or containers may be sold or displayed at the Love Day Festival which, in the judgment of the Food Committee, initiate a public nuisance or create large quantities of litter. No vendor may use or sell equipment, food, or packaging that bears the Love Day Heart Balloon logo, the words “Love Day” or any other wording that links the merchandise to Love Day. Food or beverages may not be sold in the Arts and Crafts or Street Market areas without prior approval. No amplified music, sound machines, extremely loud voice solicitations, or compressors will be allowed.
Set-up for the Festival will be Saturday, July 13, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM. You must move out ASAP after 10:00 PM on Saturday, July 13, 2024. Additional load-in instructions will be provided upon acceptance to the Festival and prior to the festival weekend.
Vehicles (maximum two per booth for the first booth, and one additional for additional booth spaces) should be parked in designated lots promptly after unloading. Parking is limited; please pack accordingly. Vendor vehicles are limited in size. No trucks with dual axles and/or more than four wheels. Trailers cannot be longer than 18’ or taller than 7’4”.
Please note that if you arrive on July 13, 2024 with a vehicle that is larger than the one you described in your application (and larger than what you paid for), the Committee reserves the right to refuse your participation in the Festival and no refunds will be given. So, please be 100% accurate when providing the dimensions of your vehicle/trailer.
Electricity will not be provided; vendors must bring their own generator. Tables, chairs, and tents are the sole responsibility of the vendor. Do not bring any animal or pet to or near your vending location or site. Pets are prohibited at the Festival by city ordinance Sec. 142-63(e). Love Day Atlanta Festival is a “class B” festival and anyone with a pet is subject to a citation from the Atlanta Police Department. Exception: Service animals/seeing guide dogs for people with disabilities, as permitted under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), will be allowed.
The City of Atlanta festival ordinance requires that tents must be certified as flame-proof. Please refer to Article IV, Sec. 142-42(e) of the Atlanta Municipal Code. Please note that the City of Atlanta prohibits tents to be staked in the grassy edge or in the parks, so please bring appropriate weights. Be prepared for the weather by bringing adequate protection for your booth. Security personnel will be provided and all reasonable care exercised, but the Love Day Atlanta Festival shall not be responsible for loss of or damage to merchandise or for injury to anyone participating in the show. If insurance is desired, it must be secured by the exhibitor. The Love Day Atlanta Festival is taking place rain or shine, and no refunds will be given for cancellation or weather.
$1,000,000 in liability insurance is required. You must provide a copy of your binder or certificate of insurance indicating Love Day Atlanta Festival as an additional insured on your policy. Your application will be rejected or your participation canceled if you are unable to provide proof of insurance.
After your application is received, the Love Day Atlanta Festival Food Committee will process and review your application. Please note that the Committee reserves the right to accept or reject some or all of the food vendor applications. Applications will be reviewed as they are received (see schedule above), and when the Food Vendor slots are filled no more applications will be accepted. You will receive notification of the Love Day Atlanta Festival Food Committee’s decision no later than July 1, 2024.
If you are accepted into the Love Day Atlanta Festival, you will receive an acceptance email and directions to your Food Vendor location area. This is an electronic agreement and by selecting the booths or locations, you are validating and approving this agreement electronically.
